This is a quick picture collection of my new Maximus Formula non-SE. I'm doing some quick testing with 8GB of OCZ Reaper @ 4-4-4-15 with 2.1v, I'm just making sure the RAM is working fine and system is relatively stable.

I'll post back at a later date with Q6600 overclocking results, I'll most likely aim for 3.6GHz and that's it.

I didn't lap the heatsinks, I only removed the original goop and re-applied with OCZ 5+, I find it's similar performance to the AS5.

I will be replace the NB with Thermalright's 05 IFX cooler, I'll slap any old cooler on the SB it doesn't need that much attention tbh.

Its like hot RAM on Motherboard porn..........................

I like it. alot.

What's the CPU sink you're using? Looks alot like a stock Xeon cooler.

nice. be sure to post pics of the new nb heatsink

I will once I receive the parts and mount them :) Hopefully I'll put up pics of the build when it's finished, mixture of high end air cooling and mid-high tier water cooling.

Thanks, I figured it would strike interest in some enthusiasts.

That's an old school Alpha heatsink for socket 370!! LOLz it's a great design and kept my E6600 cool, although I removed the mounting hardware, as it was just softmounted with generic thermal paste :p
