So I sleeved this PSU years ago (around 7-8 yrs ago) and after many years I decided to USE it and its not working properly so my assumption is that I probably crossed a couple of cables.

This PSU is semi-modular however and I can't just get a new cable, I'd have to open it and follow each cable. Is there any way of finding out what each cable should lead to?

TIA

Afaik a DVM is a doctor of veterinary medicine. Not sure how that would be useful for determining the pinout on an atx psu.

He probably means Digital VoltMeter. More commonly called DMM, or Digital MultiMeter, as they typically measure more than just voltage.

When using a DVM or DMM just make sure you have steady hands and don't accidentally touch the probes together or you'll potentially cause damage to the PSU. Most PSUs can handle a short without permanent damage, but better safe than sorry.
