Anyone have experience with making the transparency of PNG images work when applied as a background in IE6? Looked everywhere on the net, and it seems like there's no solution.

There is no solution. Use a .gif or deal with the terrible gray instead of transparency. Sad but true.

That was not the answer (neither was the one before yours :D ), but I did finally find the answer.

Hmm, but did you notice that the link you gave also has a link to the page i provided, in the bullet: "Update: Here is probably the easiest way. You can stop reading this page now."??

Personally I find the one I gave to be quite elegant :D

Also just an FYI, PNG COLOR is different in IE than other browsers as well....

I was using some PNG's on a site because they were loss-less and looked better than the gifs/jpgs, but then my BG color didn't match up in IE, so I was forced to use jpg/gifs for stuff =\

You can do some searching for more info about it, just wanted to let you know to check it when you are finished ;)
