PNY now has Lifetime warranty on XLR8 cards.

I have a question though, is this really a lifetime warranty or the shady lifetime warranty only if the card is still being manufactured?

For example, you buy a GTX 260, it's discontinued, and your card died. Instead of replacing it with a similar card performance-wise, they'll tell you you're screwed?

They did this once, and I won't be surprised if they are doing it again.
 
Well, for EVGA/BFG/XFX, it's complete lifetime warranty... Wouldn't see why PNY would be anal about it. lol

Yep, I remember those days. Their lifetime used to be defined as "lifetime of the product." Don't know if this is still the case.
 
im am extremely biased towards PNY. I got a GTX260 and arrived DOA, i was on the phone for like 45 minutes until i finally spoke to A REAL PERSON, then the guy put me on hold and the call disconnected...man was i pissed off! i ended up just returned the card. I was REALLY close to buying a HD4890 a little while ago, but just held the upgrade because im doing a complete system upgrade this December.

in short i will NEVER buy a PNY product again!
