Point in Buying OC Memory for Dell?

maybe my question is vague?

Are memory with ram heat sinks pre-clocked and ready to run at that speed?

or will there always have to be tweaking involved to get the full use of the expensive memory?
 
its a waste of money....The ram will not run any faster than your FSB....no matter what speed ram you purchase.

since you cant raise your FSB, just stick with value ram
 
but value ram also has slower timings, sure not neccesarily something you may notice, but just buy the same ram that is already in the system.

i'm looking to buy 2gb ram , vista is super slow with only 1gb
can barely play games i played on xp with lol
