Thanks to another thread I picked up a DID and a polycom 335 for $35 off craigslist. I'm trying to get it to register with voip.ms.
I've made my way to the web interface of the polycom and followed a guide on voip.ms for a similar model with similar menus but it won't hook up. I downloaded a soft phone (zoiper) and put the same information in and it registers fine. I thought the phone could be non functional so I changed the settings to hook up to a coworkers asterisk box and got it to register on one of his DID's and was able to call my cell so the phone works.
I've confirmed port 5060 is open via portchecker.co and it shows open.
I get a dial tone although I'm not sure if I would if it wasn't working on some level.
Anyone have some tips or ideas to get this working?
