But I hope to increase that later with some more tweaking.
Maybe I will try increasing my CPU overclock a little. I only have a retail heatsink and fan for my CPU though, so I can't go too high.
 
5300 exact with drivers 67.00, with 61.77 it was 4200.... 67.00 RuLeZ this is with athlon 64 3200+ @20mhz over 3400+ speeds 6800 ultra 440/150, (havnt tried any higher) :p
 
Whats the difference between the demo and the benchmark?? They both ran the same fps but the demo seems alot nicer than the benchmark. The Benchmark was all edgy like FF7 on PSX. This benchmark murdered my system.... At one point, I was proud of something.

My system seems extremely slow and sluggish lately... Windows take a good 2-3 minutes to boot, everything lags, and I have to wait for Norton Antivirus to scan everything i do. Anybody know if norton can cripple a computer this bad?

Hows that for not having the latest and greatest pricy equipment, other then the video card. Its amazing what a little tweaking can do. I dont want to give my one tweak away just yet, but it increased my score by 1100, my first run was 4650, and I enabled one tweak to get the increase, just want to see if anyone else can find it, Ill give it awhile then spread the news.

9.0c will not install at all. I've tried everything.

Anybody know what I can do to get it to install before I reformat everything?

4752 w/ main rig in signature - using 66.70s - jumped literally about 700 points with these drivers....

I don't put much stock in this benchmark, other than for diagnostic purposes...

just curious, have u ever tried installing sp2 since that includes 9.0C?
 
That's what I was going to say. Install SP2 [I know it blows but at least it'll give you DX9c].
 
Why install sp2, go to microsoft and download 9.0c, and skip the possible headaches that go with sp2, Ive got programs that dont work with sp2 even when I try the updates, so the old cliche "if it aint broke dont fix" it is my words of wisdom to you.

But he said for some reason he can't install the DX9C stand alone.

If you pm me ill give you a prog to remove old dx9 so you can reinstall it, but youll need your original winxp cd to do it. Ill need your email address I can send it, its a very small prog, save you from reformating.

What's the clock speed of your XT and are you using the latest hotfix drivers or the ATI certified 4.9s?

3270 - 6800nu (66.29)
1770 - 9700 (cat 4.9)
no oc

edit:
4002 - 6800nu (66.29) 400/900
all ran with xp3200+.
61.77 runs slow on 3dmark05.
