Anyone notice rounded off numbers a lot more in 05, than 03?
 
I have sigs disabled. And if he was using the same speeds as before, where's the specification in what changed? That's all, just curious.
 
I have a 6999 run that has the correct info. ORB must have a glitch. I was at 242x10.5 and 660/610 on the card.

Never used 3d Marks too much but the few times I did, the numbers tracked well with comparable systems, but this time... First run was 4950, but then it said install the 1.10 patch. Next run was 1837, think somehow cool bits turned everything down. Next run 3965. Next tried to OC through cool bits but did it wrong, so another stock run 3951. Next run OC'ed to 4.06/1.07 on my 6800 GT got a 3431. I'm confused, but all my games run fine so it's no big deal... but really wierd
 
5955 I was hoping to break 6,000 but I guess from most of the results I've read so far, I'm doing pritty good. XP 3200+ at 2.31ghz, 1gig corsair ram, X800pro Vivo~XT PE at 540/570... :D
 
Can you all point me anyone that can do VMODS to XT/PS's? Guess that is my probelm.
 
huge dif goin from the 65.xx(4269) i was on to the 66.81- now 5042 points. 6800gt@400/1100, xp 3200+, 1gb corsair xms dualchan ddr400
 
Just bumped my score a little bit with a mediocre overclock. 5898

I have to admit that overclocking my xtpe was stressful. :D I stared at the screen intensely looking for artifacts, peeing my pants the whole time. :p

Well I'm not a serious overclocker. So overclocking my 500 dollar video card gives me the willies. :D It feels like I'm holding a $500 bill over an open flame just daring it to ignite. :p
 
I have a quick question for you, especially Mister E. Why was I able to edge Mister E out in the test. He has his XT PE pushed slightly harder than mine. His pentium beat me in the processor score. I upgraded my forcewares from 61.77's to the 66.81's, i disabled fastwrites, set my agp aperture to 256 (default was 64mb heh) and my ram settings went from 3-3-3 to 2.5-3-3.
My original score in 05 went from 3,891 to 4473 :cool: Aquamark was also significantly increased around 700 points. The other 3dmark tests increased roughly 10 points or so.

Im running 66.51's. 66.81's are incredibly glitchy, textured stretching accross everything all messed up. Would jumping to 66.70's make a big difference?

GOing to 60.77 makes a huge difference, i switched from one of the 65.00's to 66.70 and went from about 4300 to 5220. 5220

Only thing is, in REAL games, they make very little difference.
 
Ok....New drivers and a slight oc of 570/570 got me to the 6000+ (6175) mark. Amazing what drivers and an oc will do. I was only hitting 4300.
