just like the title says... post your 6600gt temps

Brand: gigabyte (pci-e)
idle 63 c
load 77 c
stock cooling

(tracked with rivatuner on 2nd display)

Brand : Gigabyte
Model: 6600GT turbo edition PCI-E/ VIVO
Idle: 66 degrees
When gaming: Reaches 95 degrees but normally 80s and some time is in the 70s depends on what games.
Running at 515/1120 (stock)
Silent Pipeline colling (does not use fan)

idle is 51c i will look at the load temp in a bit when i play some games.

brand evga

Leadtek A6600GT TDH

Idle temp is like between 48 and 53

after some hours of play of WoW or cs:s temp is like 60 - 65

the card is dead silent too ! :)

Chaintech "SE6600G" 6600 GT PCI-Express:
Idle 42'C.
Peak load 60'C. Usually after a few hours of UT2004 it hovers between the high 40's and low 50's.

Pure stock cooling.Quiet, too, and odd because it's the only thing in my case that's relatively cool for what it is.

XFX GEFORCE 6600 GT AGP 128MB DDR3 DUAL DVI & TV OUT

Model: PVT43ANDF7

Idle: 48-50
Load: 65

XFX 6600GT AGP
STASIS IceStorm NV43AGP Cooler

Idle: 38C
Load 49C

Temperature readings aren't worth a damn unless you take them using Rivatuner in the background to establish load temps. Log them and find the peak, otherwise you are just kidding yourself.

What program do i use to check the temps of my 6600GT?

RivaTuner. google it..

you can also use the drivers, theres a temp section there

brand: pny w/ stock cooler @ 550/1200
idle: 8C over ambient case temperature
load: 43C over ambient case temperature

As mentioned above and like i've said many times before, absolute temperatures are meaningless for comparison. It's 27C in the room i'm in now and it's even hotter than that in the closed computer case.

Maybe he meant Fahrenheit? If it's in Celsius, I'd leave that room pretty quickly before the GPU goes nuclear...

XFX 6600GT 128MB AGP

Mine says "GPU Core Temperature: 43ºC"

How do i get the load reading? Do i just open a game or something?

Brand: XFX 6600GT (AGP)
System: 28°C
Idle: 48°C
Load: 62°C
Core: 569 Mhz
Memory: 1138 Mhz
Cooling: DIY

Load temp was determined with ATI Tool. Which is a real GPU cooker. I have monitered the temps in games and there not nearly as high as with ATI Tool.

Gigabyte 6600GT AGP

Idle: 70

Load: No clue, but the card hasnt failed me once.

use rivatuner, and have hardware monitoring up in the background while gaming, then quit the game and check for the max temp for load. and 70ºC idle IS HOT!

Leadtech PX 6600GT TDH
PCI-Express
Overclocked 550/1100
Stock cooling

Idle 42 c
Load 58 c

Is that Celcius or Fharenheit?
If it is Celcius it's too damn hot. :)
