Just a few things, that mess on my desk, isn't a mess. You see my belt, phone, wallet, keys, usb-to-miniusb cable, iPod cable, headphones, and a few other random things. All of those I use all the time, and I bring with me in my backpack everywhere.
And speaking of backpack, that old dell, with pillow, and pajamas, and pillow in corner aren't a mess either. That is a little ramp I made for my Miniature Dachshund to get up on my bed. You can find pictures of her here if you would like.
One last thing, that 19inch CRT I used to use for movies. I have about 200 movies on my 2nd HD, and I used to watch them while laying down. But I broke the VGA-to-DVI adapter, so it's out of commission for a while.

heres my dorm setup. I need to do something about the cables, but i was too excited to get all setup before worrying about the details.

specs: 2ghz c2d, 1gb ram, 80gb hd, 802.11n, superdrive, glossy screen
other stuff: 2x 200gb external hard drives (behind picture frame), 20.1" sceptre LCD, denon reciever, polk r-15 speakers, Rebel XT digi cam, mx518 mouse, corepad mouse pad, etc

Gone through about 3-4 setups in the past 4 months.(Went from crap to good to friggin' 1337 to dell that dysons)
Here is my setup I am using right now as of 4:30PM PST 2-25-07.

Work area... Though totally lame, all my furniture is like quad hand. Then you add on fifty years. But it is so shitty I doubt that I could sell it for anything.

Here is my most recent setup, the changes from the last pictures include a new Ikea desk, new wireless keyboard and mouse, new Ergotron monitor stand and a few other tid bits. And before people ask the reason for the zip strips on the ergotron stand is because i have the speaker bar, it is to heavy for the tilt position i want so i rigged up the zip strips and they work really well.
