thanks, i like the banana thing too. i USED to actually use a desk. but, i have to much junk.. and stuff. it made my desk cluttered. sooo, why not use shelves.... lol

Updated my workstation. I'm a college student, I put all of my money into my PC and gizmo's so I can't afford the real Ikea brand, here is my home-made Jerker. I used about $40 worth of shelving that I bought at target. I also invested in some new speaker stands to go along with the 6.1 Insignia/JBL setup. I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Yes, those are top of the line Cement Cinder blocks, available only at your local Menard's (or Lowe's or Home depot ). If I'm feeling spendy some day I might upgrade to the black model (by that, I mean I may spray paint them).

Well guys, I finally got my desk mount in the mail from geeks.com. Two 24" Sceptre's ^_^ I made a slight upgrade from my 226BW's. I've got a bit to do for wire management, but that shouldn't take long. Enjoy!

I really hope you put something under those cinder blocks to protect that hardwood floor (even if it is laminate which it looks like it may be, it's still not easy to replace or properly fix.). I would kill someone if they put bare cement on my hardwood floors.

I decided to switch it up so I'd have more room by my futon, that way people could actually sit down there. Haha, and you're right it was to the right.

Except now I stripped and painted my walls. So everything is clean... and got wooden blinds. Not as much junk is laying around either, that was back about 3 months ago. Probably going for the MALM bed frame like yours I think, except in black.

I got mine about a year and half ago, all of my furniture at least. Got the desk, lamp's and coffee tables for $75 on Craigslist from a girl that was moving out of state. ( I still have all of that stuff, ill take some pictures tonight.)

haha oh wow, im pretty sure we have the EXACT same layout now in our apartments. Same studio layout I guess, right? I figured the TV was in a better position for viewing in front of the futon. That's pretty crazy though.
