Nothing like getting your textbook all sticky.

Remember to read wisely.

Nice setup @ Pkirk618
It looks very comfortable and cozy:D

thanks...that was the point really. I love some of the setups here but some give me the chills with tile floors and such. After living in govt quarters for so may years (I've owned a couple of homes, just didn't live in them), it's nice to have a place to call my own as well as entertain.

Next purchase....100" DLP :)

how much for the old tv? :D ;)?

hows that mbp holding you up???
Not sure I understand your question. If you mean "how is it performing?" The answer is a most emphatic YES. I finally got around to installing the 4GB upgrade that's been sitting on my desk for a few weeks. I've had none of the overheating issues with the 512MB 8600. love this laptop! :D

Latest update. Printed some more of my photography and put that up, also got this sick HL2 banner from work. I am also sporting some holiday lights. :D

Just thought I'd share my entire basement w/work area and play area. Something different.

Here's my setup--added another full desktop to the left. Intel8400 @ 3.6Ghz/8800GTX to play mp w/me, usually the kids and I :). I also use that computer for watching movies though my primary computer has the blue-ray player writer..

Nice chair!! Where did you get it? :D

its usually $199 at staples. but now it's on sale (figures  a week after i buy mine... ) for $159 now. here's the link to it

you sir have just sold me a chair! Are the armrests/back brace metal? I have a habit of snapping the plastic ones.

the arms are actually the only pieces that connect the back to the seat portion so no back brace. that said. these arent thin cheap plastic arms. add to that the bolts that they use to connect to the seat and to that back are REALLY thick and long (especially for the back bolts) i abuse my chair (jump in and out of it) and haven't ever feared that it might all snap on me. go try it out at your local Staples and see for yourself. the adjustable headrest is another thing ive been looking for in a new chair and love it.

I tried that chair out the other day, didn't really think it was comfortable.I like the way it looks though, although it does have that cheasy sort of car headrest thingy

I have the same chair and agree 110% with what roccer said. I am a big guy (~300lbs) and I have not issues what so ever with this chair's stability. The head rest is a killer feature too.

Kaleim: Nice setup, but wouldn't it be better if all the screens were in the same height?

Off topic: Swedish? Göteborgs Rapé and Apotekarnes Julmust isn't very American, is it? :)

Thanks!

Yeah I know, but as you see, my 5.1 speakersystem centerspeaker/controlpanel are placed under the LCD so I can't put the screens in the same height :/ The speaker is heigher than the bottom border of the screensurface..

Yeah :D Im Swedish.. Göteborgs Rapé and Apoterkarnes Julmust FTW! :D

Finally set up everything. Moved back home after graduating! Now time to search for a job in this shit economic state. :(

Will clean up the wires once I feel like it!

I do believe I will do this, I bought a nice 200$ chair from office depo, it had plastic arms ended up snappin em so its held togehter with glue and screws and has since been retired to the basement "worklab"

Not only is that shot of task manager not impressive in the slightest(hyper threading=2x4cores=8), it's definitely OT.

kaleim, what Sony CRT do you have there? :D:cool:

And we have to generalize that since he is 'noobie', that the chances of an off-topic post or a post quoting multiple pictures is very likely.

hahaha true, but we were all noobs once too, so I'm not going to bash too much.

P.S. Working on cleaning my desk to post it..... ( At least part of it )
