I don't like the Cosmos either ... not attractive, IMHO. Internal features are nice, but at that price? No thanks...

I got mine for 50$. but i realized afterward that i hate it. but for 50$ it was the best deal at the time.

My little set up ^_^

PC stuff on the left, ghetto reloading bench on the right. See if you can find the 1911 ;)

Nice reloading bench. I used to have mine setup next to my desk as well but since moving it's been in storage. I can't really afford to do it these days any ways now that prices have gone up so much in the past 1 1/2 - 2 years. I also haven't been shooting much lately either since DNR closed up the local public range so I have about 1,000 9mm, ~1,000 45 and ~1,000 556 just sitting in ammo cans. It just sucks that metal prices, a democratic president and congress, and wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have really made the price of the hobby sky rocket since I started in 2004.

My humble set-up:

Plan to go to IKEA and get a MIKAEL soon, though. Trying to figure out how much weight it can hold, I can't seem to find an answer. :\

Finally got pics of my 2009 setup, now that the year is coming to an end. I have moved since last year, but the major components are mostly the same.

'Clean' desktop (except where I forgot to dust the UPS):

'Cluttered' desktop (the chalice says 'PIMP' - my wife bought it for our wedding:eek:):

What is that charging stand you are using? Link?

Put down new floors in the bedrooms. Took a few pictures while I was setting the desk back up. Not finished yet, certainly wont be perfect, and I need to grab shorter screws for the board, hangs too low.

So the screws are just threaded slightly into the desk itself?

Seems cool just dunno how sturdy... heh...

Yep, approx. 1/2" in. The board does flex, but I could add in addition screws wherever if needed.

Just wondering, but, why bother with a computer that slow?
Does what it needs to do for the firewall. I'd love to replace it of course, but its not a completely necessary expense.

Went to IKEA today, got a Mikael:

Loving this thing.

My brother handed this desk down to me. I thought it was gonna be good by the looks and size of it, but it's starting to fall apart now. Must be from the 2-3 times it's changed rooms, but now it needs extra L brackets to hold the top to the legs together and it's still wobbly. It still works and all, just feel really uneasy about it sometimes.

Huh, that's not good to hear. Hopefully it is from moving around because mine will be staying put.

OMG, genius. I'm getting some peg board to mount my mini-ITX router on. Great idea!
