Post you're Battlefield 4 Beta benchmarks

What Res? In about 2 hours I'll be able to test the exact same setup.

4670k with 7770.

My FX8120 won't go past 20FPS no matter what I do but my old C2Q will avg around 30
1360x768 and using the 13.10v2 drivers.

Avg ~90fps @ 1080p w/ 780 sli and 4930k @ 4.5. Vsync'd at 100fps for a lot of the action.

This game slays my CPU, and SLI scaling is terrible. Here's hoping mantle will give me my lightboost @ 120fps with a couple 290x.

How's your second GPU usage? I'm seeing pretty shody scaling on two 780's.

the top two green lines in his afterburner picture at the bottom is the gpu useage, second line is the second gpu.

i think you need new drivers. 780 sli @ 1080p should be overkill.

OS>?

8.1

Did a clean install of 331 drivers...and tried TimerResolution to set my system clock latency to the min (.5 millisecond). Not sure why it helps, but it does. Hyperthreading also.

Now I'm at fairly solid 100fps vysnc with a rare drop into the 90's. Ultra on everything but mesh. Would be nice if the final gave me solid120fps, but I'm still satisfied.

I just downloaded and played a full 64 map. I set video options from auto to ultra and I couldn't ask for it to play any better. My vs was off and I saw the tearing lines at times so I know it went over 60 fps. All 8 of my cpu cores were bunched together at around 70% plus usage on my coretemp gadget and after burner showed gpu history @ 100% My system is not nearly as powerful as most and I don't get why some have problems. Hell it seemed smoother than wow and Tomb raider.
Win 7 64
system is in sig stock speeds on cpu
video card is @ 1000/1300
1920x1200 rez

according to raptr my average fps is around 58-62 it lets me know what my fps average is from my last play session and i play for about 4-5hours+ in a row at times so its a good average.

4.4ghz 8150, 1x 3GB 7950 1050mhz core 1600mhz mem

i have it set to custom setting change from the custom default is post processing set to low.

i have a second 7950 but i couldnt get crossfire working the last time i tried it but not too worried about crossfire during beta. id rather that second gpu mine litecoins while i play any way

Everything turned down all the way, all effects turned off motion blur etc 50%,
set resolution to 1024xwhatever

I get about 5 fps. Well I get 30-45 fps but it drops to 5fps every few seconds sound skips etc

Q9450 @ 3.2 ghz
Video: 5870
Ram 8GB

2560x1440p 96Hz, all eye candy and AA turned on.

7970s in crossfire, i5 2500k stock speed (will OC it back to 4.5Ghz later today and report back) Getting what seems to be an average of 50-60 depending on the scene, dips down to 40's.

All four CPU cores are maxed out trying to feed dual 7970's, with a single 7970 all CPU cores hover around 80% load. This game sucks down CPU for breakfast.

So 1 7970 bottlenecks the 2500k but with 2 the 2500k bottlenecks The cards?

yea I'm wondering if I will have to get a refund, 5fps at 1200 resolution is BS. if if All I have is an older overclocked Q9450, I mean the graphics on low are pretty bad especially at 1024 and my CPU is still at 100%

You graphics card is holding you back imo

Played BF4 for about 2 hours this afternoon again. Is it just me or does this game looks and feels EXACTLY like BF3....? I mean the graphics have been upgraded a bit I guess, but I'm kinda pissed I pre-ordered. Unless you put them side by side, I don't think I could tell the difference between 3 and 4.

WTB something new....anything new ffs...

Beta performance has been ok on my current rig which is somewhat shocking. Looks like going from 5850 -> 7970 is the right move to 1920x1200 to max everything out. I haven't done much reading about the next generation of gpu's, but prices seem pretty good right now and, as far as I can tell, AMD > nVidia for Frostbite ($/performance ratio).

Any dissenting opinions? When are new cards due, and how much better are they expected to be?

Got a 7950 off my buddy today for a good price. Clocked it to 970/1375 so that it doesn't bottleneck the 7970. You can see the bottleneck when 7950 is at stock because gpu usage on the 7970 is at about 90% and 7950 is maxed out. With 7950 at 970/1375 and 7970 at stock 925/1375 both cards are pegged at 100%. Pretty funny to me how clocking the 7950 to 45mhz more than the 7970 makes it the exact same card lol. Anyways here is my benchmark. Everything maxed with 4xMSAA. About 20 minutes of firefights and some tank whoring.

Min 48, Max 128, Avg 87.5

Pretty dam good. Betting I still have a good 10-20% performance gain once I start tweaking these cards. Guessing 1100/1500 on 7970 and 1150/1500 on the 7950 would net me some great gains.

slightly off topic -- I have the most fun flying a chopper with guns blazing in, out, and around the skyscrapers, looks so damn beautiful just leaving a trail of destruction, playing chase with an opponent through downtown :)

Rig in Sig:
CPU: 3770K @ 4.8Ghz
GPU is 7950 clocked @ 1.3Ghz core/1600mhz (had the wrong profile loaded so my memory wasn't running @ it's max speed of 1850mhz)..CAT 13.8 Beta Drivers...

I also forgot to check the memory usage..I will report back with that and also do a run with ULTRA settings to see any difference in FPS..

What do you guys think? I did a clean boot, with only Trixx, FRAPs, Origin, Afterburner, and Creative Z Series CP Running..

The game looks pretty good to me, but I was mainly focused on getting into some firefights so that I could stress the card as much as possible..It was pretty hard to play with this old worn out KB:(..During the Run, I was in a Tank shooting up two other tanks, and there were a few APCs and about 10 soldiers all going at it...After taking an ATM in my rear, I re-spawned right near the same fight and this time was playing support and killed a tank with an RPG, lots of close in fighting and tons of smoke etc..

The game was incredibly fluid for me, it certainly didn't feel like it was unoptimized during the time I played..There were several choppers that started mixing it up right before I quit, so there was a TON of action going on, and I was panning around watching a lot to stress things as much as possible..

RenderDevice.TripleBufferingEnable 1
RenderDevice.ForceRenderAheadLimit 1

I did some benchmarks using fraps. I only did them while I was alive because frame rates seem to jump up when I died and I didn't want to skew my results.

System specs in signature. 7850 are overclocked to 1150MHz from the stock 860MHz.
