Power Connectors and Graphics Cards CORSAIR CMPSU-850TX V2 850W

Building a new rig and I can't seem to get a straight easy to understand answer about the psu connection to the graphics card.

So the question is: Will the CORSAIR CMPSU-850TX V2 850W support 2 Xfired R6950 Twin Frozr III Power Edition/OC ?????

Sure you think, there is enough power for them, I know that ..... but what about the power connectors. I got lost somewhere between the 6 pin, 8 pin and the 6+2 pin connectors so PLEASE help.

6950's use 2 6pin PCI-E connectors each and the TX850 has 4 6+2 PCI-E connectors so you should be all set. (6+2 means either 6 or 8 pin).
 
ok, but is it 6, or is it 8, or does it not matter....?
sorry but ... still confused
