Power supply with one 36 A 12v rail or two 18 A 12v rails?

If you're refering to Newegg's Specs on the Fortron/Sparkle 550, then AFAIK they both have split rails, it's just newegg got the specs wrong, as they have a tendancy to do with designs like that.
 
Ya, not to mention that sparkle & fortron are sister companies and often produce clone psu's from one another (the same perhaps?). You may actually be debating between the same psu ;)
