I have a Asus P4PE and everything seemed fine until I was doing some electrical work in the house and flipped some circuit breakers off and on. I forgot my computer was on at the time and I think it may have been affected.
Now, when I boot the computer I get a hardware error that says to check the power setup. I find that my hard drive is now set to primary slave and primary master says none.
If I hit F1 to continue Windows XP will boot, except it said it found new hardware, a RAID controller. No I don't have RAID.
I tried my backup hard drive that is bootable, checking the jumper first and got the same error.
Any ideas?
Also, is asusboards.com still active, I couldn't access it?
