I bought a WD 160GB a few weeks ago and recently tried to install an OS on it. It won't boot off this drive no matter what I do. I get the message cannot load operating system.
One thing to mention is the drive was intially formatted through windows xp. When I ran into the problem I fdisked it and made one primary active partition but I still get the same problem. It's also the only HD in the system and set it to primary master.
Any suggestions?
