Problem w/ 2407WFP and XBOX 360

Running at 1920x1080 through the VGA cable I am getting lines on my 2407. Only at this resolution and during any game or in the dashboard. Anyone have the same issue or have heard of this?
 
Try turning down the sharpness setting, it should get rid of the lines. Unfortunately, every time you switch from VGA to DVI, the sharpness setting will be reset which brings the lines back.
 
My fix for this is to just not set the 360 to 1920x1080 but to it's optimized resolution of 1280x720 and it still holds up great.
 
I agree with Big_Kel. I have the 24" Gateway FPD2485W and I also have the Xbox360 at 1920x1080 through VGA. It to has horizontals lines that take half the screen. But, when I enable 1:1 mapping which the Gateway monitors has it does not have any lines it looks flawless. If your Dell monitor does not have 1:1 mapping which most likely doesn't then reduce the resolution to 1280 x 1024 on the Xbox 360. It should still look good on the 24" even if its not at 1920 x 1080. I compared it on mines and 1280 x 1024 still looks pretty good with no noticeable pixelation or fuzziness even if it stretches it to fill the whole screen. I say 1280 x 1024 because it's a higher resolution than a 1280 x 720 resolution and the next best thing closer to 1920 x 1080. 1280 x 720 would be more suited on a 16:9 widescreen than a 16:10 widescreen monitor.
