Basically I'm trying to find a smaller version of the X-keys Stick. I only need 2-4 keys on the unit.

Long story short, it will be used to control a kiosk style presentation across a production facility, I'll need 9 of them. I have tried searching the web, but I'm not sure what to search on. Does anyone know of a smaller version of something similar to the X-Keys?

Thanks!

Hey webdes03. I saw your post about our X-keys Stick. Did you know that the Stick can be cut off after the third or fourth key? I can send you a picture of the PCB to show you where to make the cut if you like.

Sure, shoot over any details you might have... or you can PM me if needed.

This is for a corporate environment and I'd need to do 8 or 9 of them...

Webdes03,

I PM'd you some info and here's some more.

Detailed instructions for the mod are here: http://www.piengineering.com/faq/co...ke-a-shorter-version-of-the-x_keys-stick.html

Please be advised that performing this modification yourself will void the warranty. If you want to keep the warranty intact, our lab can do the modification. That service is not inexpensive, but it will look just like the factory model and be fully tested when you receive it.

We have other options for custom programmed switches too. Like the X-keys Switch Interface: http://www.piengineering.com/xkeys/xkswi.php or the X-keys Matrix Board: http://www.piengineering.com/custom/xkmatrix.php

I hope this is helpful information.
