Project :: Silver Shadow

Awesome Mod Leeum
Congratulation on the mag mention too.

P.S. Maybe it's time to mod your hair... ;) :D

Want to close it down a little from North East lol, i've been to quite a few places north-east actually

Cheers to you all, I've loved every bit of response I've received in this mod, can't wait to start my next!

Majin: Why I oughta...*shakes fist* ;) :D

It's not that bad really, it seems to have messed up when they've gone around out on the right hand side though.

that cool, i haven't actually been to Morpeth but newcastle a couple times :)

Just a quick question:

When you wired the LED's in the waterblocks, did you just strip a wire from the PSU, or what.

Basically, how did you power them? :D

Im not bashing or anything... but I just looked through this thread and saw all of the "amazing" comments and such... while I will agree this does look nice, it is far from original or out of the ordinary. Watercooled, window on side, window on top... nice paint, but... you didnt even do it yourself.

Good job, I do like it, I just dont see what the big deal is.

what is the painters business called. I got to have me some of that paint!

Snoopy: I basically cut the molex pass-through off an old broken and wired in an LED with a 560 ohm resistor :)

Tengis: Fair comment, we all have different ideas as to what a 'good' mod is...

Tiny: He works at a garage. If you're looking to get something painted you could try and catch someone at a local garage on their lunch break and see if they're looking to take any small jobs on the side ;)

Cheers for the kind comments, really appreciated

I’ve just realised that I’ve never really posted many pictures of the mod in its completed state. It’s been a pretty long journey with a few ups and downs but I can really say I’m over the moon (lmao!) with the result…:D

I’d just like to give a big shout to everyone who’s supported the mod throughout its stages. I’ve greatly appreciated the feedback I’ve received in the project logs aswell as the countless number of E-mails and PM’s.

Keep an eye out for my next modding instalment which will be unveiled very soon ;)

Until then, mod on peeps! :)

First Antec/Chemming/Who ever the hell else makes them that I like. I especially like the LCD on the front, would've been cooler if all the drives were like that, but overall, a 6 out of 5.

Cheers guys! :) I'm really pleased with how it's turned out, I don't think I can ever bring myself to sell it on anytime soon I'll have to fit it with some better performing hardware after my next project.

xrdotimcr: It's made by Chieftec - just a pity it doesn't come in aluminium.

Leeum: If you ever sell that BEAST of a case, make sure you charge ALOT, i would pay almost anything for it :p

hahaha, cheers, it's appreciated :D

It's currently my main rig while the A64 one is being built, I'll most likely add another HDD and use it as a server after that.

Damn nice Leeum, Damn Nice!

I want to start my moding bad, but I need to grow the balls to hack at my Stacker.
Not to mention I don't know If I could go without porn for as long as it would take to mod my case. :D

heya, stopped by your worklog and wanted to congratulate you on a very polished project. :D

i love seeing these cases modded - this antec case design has to be the most-modded case ever i think!!

your complete integration of water cooling is tight. very tight. something i'd like to do (i have a mid-dragon) without losing my 3.5" bays... don't think it's gonna happen tho :(

You have engineered an A Grade mod, very minimalist and tidy, Congratulations!!

There's tons of room in these cases to add H2O and not lose your bays.

The LCD mirror turned out cool. It is like an opitcal illusion, in shots like this one:

Looks like you can see right through it.

I'm about to start work on an Antec 1040, with H2O, so I'm bookmarking this for future reference. ;)
