Hello everyone.
I have a quick question regarding my Antec Tru550W 12VEPS powersupply (the original one, not the new v2.0)
It has a 8pin 12V and a 4pin 12V.
My MB has a 8pin plug for the 12V power so thats not a problem... but I dont have a 6pin PCI-X power connecter
So.. I was wondering if it is possible (wise) to convert the 4pin 12V into a 6pin 12V power for the PCI-X video card?
I can make one easy.. or I can use the 2-molex -->6pin that came with the card.
Which would be better.
My main concern would be pulling too much off of the 12V that feeds the CPU by converting the 4pin 12V
