PSU plugs for Asus Motherboard

Hello, Can you tell me if I can fit the Corsair CX750M PSU to my Asus D700sc motherboard. As you can see in the photo the motherboard has a socket for ATX1 & EATX. somewhere I looked and it say's it is not a EATX. Anyone know how I can fit the CX750m PSU.

It's a proprietary plug incompatible with the 8-pin EPS connector. The board is not able to be run from ATX PSUs directly.

Without having one in hand, I can't say for sure, but you could rewire the 8 pin connector to match the one in there now. You'll want an ATX PSU pinout diagram and a multimeter to test the wires for voltages to make sure the right ones go to the same spot. The green wire is probably the power signal which is taken from the 24 pin connector (refer to wiring diagram for which pin).

Double check everything and back up your data before trying it, because one wrong wire in the wrong place and you'll fry the system.
 
no. its a proprietary psu/mobo config.
also, all three of your threads could have just been one...
