Putting an i7-950 into a TJ08B-E

I'm downsizing my rig and have concerns regarding two components:
  • Corsair 1000HX
  • Noctua NH-U12P cooler

I'm not at all confident that the Corsair 1000HX will fit in any build that involves an optical drive in the TJ08B-E so I'll likely have to sell that.

The Noctua, on the other hand, can shed one of its fans and be slightly more nimble. Has anyone had any experience with using this cooler in a TJ08B-E?
 
Not sure how the dimensions compare but I fit my Enermax Maxrevo 1350w in my TJ08B-E. It was crowded but it fit.

No experience with that cooler but the Nh-D14 fits, as well as the Thermalright Silver Arrow.
