I've read that the memory bandwidth might be an issue with the quads. So what should I run my OCed Q6600 at? 3520 with 8x440 or 3500 with 7x500? I'm too lazy to do actual benching with different settings. Anyone have experience?

depends what ram you have...its always best to try run the fsb close to your mem spec, or obviously higher if you're overclocking the ram too. if you're running it linked to the FSB 1:1 then 7x500 would be better as the ram would be at 1000mhz, 440x8 would be 880mhz.
so all depends on your ram really.. ideally you should have some high clocking ddr2 800 or some 1066. ( i would use 1066 with a quad just to not have to push the ram hard )

thats just my 2 cents

yeah my ram can do 500mhz with 2.3v and 44412... But I realized my B3 Q6600 won't boot with 7x500. Seems like it doesn't like high FSBs. Makes me wonder if I should set my multiplier back 9 and see if it can do 3.6. I know it can't do 8x450.
