Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has this mobo and cpu and is willing to share their settings at all. I havent OC'ed anything since my athlon 64 3700+ built 2.5 years ago, so I feel like a newb all over again. Hoping to push it to 3.0ghz.
cpu: q6600 g0 stepping
ram: ocz reaper 2x2gb ddr2 800
mobo: asus p5q deluxe
vidya: 8800gts
heatsink: thermalright ultra-120 extreme (EXTREME!!)
I've been going over all the guides as much as possible, and mentally preparing for the task at hand... haha. From what I understand, some important things include setting the pci clock to 33mhz and the pci-e to 100mhz to make sure those don't go out of whack while overclocking. Besides that, are there any settings I need to lock down?
