(qty 1) PA120.1 vs (qty 2) 120mm GTS Stealths?

For a low-ish flow system (8mm ID) with low-ish rpm fans :)

I'm only planning on doing chipset / cpu (quad), but I'll want to OC as much as possible.

I do not wish to get a a dual or triple rad at this time... any thoughts?

Why bother with 2 single BIPs when you'd be better off with a 2x120mm radiator instead with much less of a pressure drop.

Thanks for the advice -- do the BIP classics offer better performance, or just a much better value?

the BIP's perform much better than the GTSs with a low output fan... The slow yate loons don't fare so well with the GTS, but really work well with the BIP. If you don't mind 40dba watercooling, get the GTS's and a medium yate loon.

They're also cheap as hell.

@Arcygenical: thanks much!

@Ranker: Not sure I'm going to stick with water for much longer and I just picked up a new case. I'd rather make use of the two existing (yet distant) 120mm fan holes than chop 'er up just yet.

Effective 8-15-07 the MCR120-QP radiator is shipped with 1/4" NPSM (compatible 1/4" BSPP and G1/4) threaded hubs instead of 3/8" built-in barbs. This added convenience will allow users to install different barb fittings (3/8" or 1/2")

Swiftech has been updating all their radiators this past summer, they changed all their barb thread sizing on all of them............:D
