Hello fellow Nvidia 6800 Ultra users,
I recently made the switch from an ATI 9800 XT to a Nvidia 6800 Ultra. My question is what is the difference between image setting at high quality than quality? On high quality, I am taking a minor hit in performance on a 6800 ultra when I enable high quality and have 4XAA and 8XAF. But I don't know if I am using FSAA. All I have is 2X, 2XQ, 4X and 8XS, infact I still haven't seen anything releated to FSAA on the option menu (using official 66.93 at the moment. Will try the betas later). Any advice would help I am kinda confused with all the bazillion options I have been now introduced
IQ is pretty good if not alittle better than the 9800 XT. The necropolis in Warcraft III fronzen throne doesn't have any jaggies at all when it's leviating up and down. I had minor jaggies with the 9800 XT even with 6X AA and 16AF I don't even get that on the 6800 ultra
