I currently have an Antec 900 case with Xigmatek Heatsink/fan

The problem is that the heatsink is so long I cant use the side fan on my case.

I've been think of upgrading to Antec P193 case

But I don't know if it will have the same problems?? anyone here has it?

Otherwise I might just stick with the version without the side fan. Antec P183

As far as I can tell, the only reason to go with the P193 over the P183 is if you absolutely need a case that needs more space inside, and EATX support, otherwise the P183 seems like the best choice.

I've heard of people having issues fitting certain coolers in the P193 due to the side fan which protrudes into the case somewhat, some of the TRUE's if I remember correctly, although I don't remember which models. I haven't heard of anyone having any issues with mounting any heatsinks in a P183, though.

Personally I wish Antec would sell the P193 without the side fan also.

I do not have the Xigmatek heatsink but I do have the prolimatech megahalems (I call it Megatron) in my P183.

The megatron does fit in my P183, and by the looks of the product dimensions on each heatsink's product page, it appears that the Xigmatek should fit too.
Megatron - 158.7mm
Xigmatek - 159mm

FYI, I am running Core i7 if the socket height between AM2 and 1366 is significant.

thanks, with the P183, will I lose cooling compared to the antec 900?

Since the 900 and 902 are very open cases have have mesh openings on practically every side, it should cool better than the P183.

Also keep in mind the P183 has 3 layers of metal on each side panel for sound insulation. This also acts like a heat insulator.

However the P183 is much better than the P182 in terms of airflow.

My Xigmatek s183 fit fine into my p182 case, so it should be fine with the p183.

I'm thinking of upgrading to p193, but I hear the side fan blocks out the larger cpu coolers (finding out right now).

Looks like it won't be happening with my Xigmatek Dark Knight.

From Antec: "The maximum height for heat sink fans with the P193 is 140mm. The P193 is designed for great performance in mind. The 200mm ensures that the components will always receive ample cooling. P193 means you DON’T need to use massive, expensive heat sinks to get maximum performance."

Xigmatek - 159mm

Antec Fail.
