Quick 360 question and the HD Drive

i see that the XBOX 360 HD drives are now $50 down from $200, if i was to get one can i use it as my primary drive? for games, movies everything?

if i can i am hoping it is a lot quiter then the built in drive which is a little to loud for me.

You can't use it to play games from. You can use it for standard DVD playback though.

Like Dan_D said, you can only use it for movie playback: Both HD DVDs and standard DVDs. Any 360 games you want to play will have to be put in the main DVD drive on the actual 360.

Don't forget that you increase the number of USB slots on your system by 1.

Your local K-mart might still be clearing out these drives for $25. I'm gonna go try and get a couple.
