I am planning on getting the Asus Eee PC:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220246

And i was going to get an SD card to expand it's memory. I was wondering if i should just get a larger card, say 16gb, that had standard read/write speed like this:

Or go with an ultra2 card card:

Basically, will i notice a big difference with the speed?

Thanks,

Jackal

Hrm, well that 16GB SD card doesn't even seem to have it's speed listed under the specs... Usually it'll have either the speed or 'least what 'Class' card it is (4, 6, etc) which gives you an idea of the transfer rates it should have I think. Idk whether it really makes a difference for an Eee PC either way tho, you won't really be moving large files around much on that thing would you?

So even if there's a speed difference it'd help with what... Boot-up time?

Good point, i guess i don't really need the speed just for small documents i'll be keeping on it. Boot time won't even be affected because the boot drive would be the 4gig internal hd.
