I have had the original Enermax Galaxy 1K PSU for a few years now, And its still working great, voltages rock solid. I am sure some of you would say to avoid certain disaster, now might be a good time to replace this PSU as preventative maintainance, correct?
Well, if thats not the case...
I am looking into a 6970 - and although my galaxy supports like 6 PCI-E 4 Pin connectors, I need to know if it is safe to use a PCI-E 4PIN to 8PIN converter to run the 6970.
I really think its BS that they changed the PCI-E Power Plugs :/
