I'm going to get some better ram for my system and since I'm totally ignorant on ram thought I'd try and get some suggestions on what I've found so far. I have 2gb (4 x 512) crucial oem (basic) DDR-400 sticks in it now. I'm sending two of those sticks back for credit and just plan in getting 2gb (2 x 1gb).
Here is what I've been looking at and just need to know if one would be better than the other in this system. All are in the price range I'm looking at.

maybe a little better to move to a future system? I assume it will work ok in the P4P-800?
or just go the this route?

I've read good things about the G.Skil and they seem to have very good pricing so I was looking at those pretty hard. I would guess #1 would be the best choice if I decided to try overclocking in the future or move it to a new system when I build one.
So any thoughts or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim
