ram question....

Hi guys,

What is the best setup for rams, 2 modules (2x1Gb) or 4 modules (4x512Mb)? I just wanna go with a total of 1Gb of ram for my system for now but will definitely upgrade to 2Gb in the future when Vista comes out. Is it better for me to just buy a stick of 1Gb or 2 sticks of 512Mb? I know by going with the one stick i wont be able to use the dual channel setup. I think i would waste more money by going two sticks. What do you guys think?

Get the 1GB stick now and then get an identical one later to hopefully run in dual channel. 4x512MB isn't worth the headache and going from 1T to 2T is common with most motherboards.

2T is a given, dropping the ram mhz to ddr333 is common with 4 sticks in

just go with 2x1gb. it's not even expensive.
