RAM Upgrade Question

I am wanting to upgrade my ram to 2 1gb sticks and I have a Abit AA8XE motherboard and it says it supports Dual Channel DDR2 400 or DDR2 533Mhz. I have some Corsair Valueselect 2 sticks of 512MB DDR2 533mhz. I was wondering if you can get above the supported ram specs, like PC2-6400 or something like that with it still working. I want to do this because I know the 2gb would really help and I might be selling it soon and the buyer wanted me to get 2gb for it anyways.

So is DDR2 533Mhz the fastest ram I get for this board? I know this may be a stupid question but I have never really known.

Wow newegg only has 2 kits of 533Mhz ram, what happened? Would DDR2 667 work with this board or not?
