Then when dual core processors come I can upgrade sisnce its socket 939, and when new badass vid cards come out you can update since its PCI-E....But, if you guys see anything that you think is overkill, and that can save me a little mula, tell me.
 
raptor 36's in RAID might be overkill for the Price/Performance ratio.

I'm actually building a similar system - I bought a single DiamondMax 10 250 GB (16MB cache) instead.

save your money on the HD's and spring for a 19 inch or bigger widescreen FP
 
Awesome.. I had the Shuttle SN25P it was a beautiful machine! :D

I had that with 1 740GD Raptor.. The Heatsink thingy on that thing was a pain for me to install.. hope its easier on you guys... :D
 
Two hard drives? That may be too hot for those drives to handle. Make shure you cool those puppies down, I'd personally go with One bigger HDD.
 
I've dealt with a Shuttle before. With those hard drives it WILL get hot in there.
