RE: Samsung 204BW vs. 205BW

I don't think the 204 ever came in a widescreen. I think it went from 204 -> 205W.

I seem to recall hearing that the manufacturers are switching over to W format cause there is less waste from cutting the master glass.
 
I just got he 204BW and the only difference worth noteing is the 204BW had a 13%(got this info from Samsung Tech support) thinner bezel than the 205BW its hardly noticable. Since I have got mine I have went back to CompUSA to look at the 205BW to see if its bezel looked wider, it did but just barley. In essence the 204BW is the online version of the 205BW even though you can get the 205BW online you most likely wont see a 204BW in brick and mortor stores. There is no difference in the preformance specs at $289 to my door and ebaying my old monitor for $100 I'm very happy with the upgrade. I can now wait 2 more years for LED back lit, and maybe SED to come out or 1920x1200 to reach $350
