I havnt built a computer in about 4 years as I've been putting my money elsewhere. I havnt modded any cases in about 3 years. So now I have 750 (cad) put away for a new rig plus whatever I can get for a radeon 9200, athlon 2500, mobo, heatsink, ram + case. (150 bucks maybe?)

Ive picked this setup out and I am wondering if its any good for me and if there are any cheaper or better bang for the buck suggestions. It is going to be a gaming setup.

Athlon 64 3200+ Venice 2.0GHZ 512K $125.45
Zalman CNPS9500 Heat Sink 92MM $66.42
ASUS A8N-E Mobo $113.85
EVGA E-GEFORCE 7600 GT KO 580MHZ 256MB 128BIT 1.5GHZ GDDR3 Dual DVI-I HDTV Out $206.00 [I am a hardcore ATI guy, but I am making the switch cash wise]
Kingston HyperX PC3200 1GB 2X512MB DDR400 CL2-3-2-6 1T 184PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory Kit $125.93
For a grand total of 637 CAD.

That leaves me 120 bucks plus whatever I can sell my old stuff for to mod with. Which needs to includ a case. I am looking for one of these cases but without a PSU if anyone knows any good ones -> http://www.autohifi-world.de/users/grille/PC/chieftec.jpg
Which is exactly the case I have right now, but its been alot of wear and tear and its also pure 20 guage steel full tower and weighs some 60 lbs. So im hoping for aluminum.

Thanks.

Just priced out what my old stuff would get on ebay so I've got a little extra spending money if need be. It came out to an extra $135 if im lucky
40 cpu 25 for vid 30 for ram 25-30 for hsf 10 for mobo

You know, I just sat and typed out a whole response about how you're prices seemed higher. Then I realized it was in Canadian dollars. I need a drink.

Haha. Yeah I see that on [H] every time a canuck posts :p

Im thinking over the video card. Should I go with something a bit higher? I wanna be able to overclock some and I've read the 7600 gt doesnt overclock the best and the fan is loud.

Any suggestions.
