Needs to be:
1) Inexpensive
2) Holds at least 3 components (Onkyo Receiver, Xbox, PS)

Pluses:
3) Cable management
4) Compact

I always liked rack mount audio gear.
You can buy a "Rack" that isn't to expensive.

Check out Samson SRK racks of you want an industrial pro looking one.

I have one in my office that holds my rack mount office PC as well as an amp preamp.

BUT, something cool I did a few years back was converted a regular glass door wood "stereo cabinet" to a rack mount gear cabinet. Close the dark smoke glass doors and you can't tell what it in there.
You can get individual rack rails from suppliers like MCM electronics.
I just took the shelves out, got 2 2x4s boards and cut them to size, then painted them black.
Screwed them in place in the cabinet and then screws the rails to it. Boom, instant rack mount cabinet that doesn't look like something that belong in a computer room.
Would post a picture to give you an idea, but it is in storage. It was loaded with old analog gear and I didn't see much point in dragging it out.

I mean something like ...
