I'm building a new server (post under Intel Processors) and would like to use a redundant ATX power supply (Gigabyte board, also listed on the other thread). Does any one have a suggestion on a redundant ATX power supply?

As I understand it, N+1 power supplies are small watt units that when combined give you higher wattages and a single point of failure. So if you have 4 200 watt power supplies, you will have 600 watts + 200 redundant. Am I correct on this?

Thanks.

Brand suggestions would be Zippy/Emacs or Etasis. I also believe FSP and Enermax make redundant PSUs. In addition, Supermicro has various chassis that have N+1 redundant supplies.

As for your understanding, I believe it is correct. However, I would think of the +1 as a hot spare, and not a single point of failure.
