I just got in a new case, and I wanted to rotate the rear 120mm fan so that the fan header could be more easily routed. I noticed that the bottom two fan screws couldn't be fully removed. They'd come out to a point and then just spin. I tried yanking them out with no success. I can screw them back in easily enough.

What's the best way to get this thing out without damaging the case?

Drill them out from the opposite end?

I was just about to try your suggestion but I couldn't find my drill motor. So I just took a worn out bit and put it in there and hit it a few times with a hammer and the screws popped out. Even better, the screws went back in without trouble after rotating the fan.
