Requesting Opinions for new build

I'm debating building myself a new computer, my Athlon runs so loud with all the cooling fans, I never turn it on.

I'm on a tight budget here is what I'm thinking and what I want.

Abit Motherboard (I just love them) would like PCI-X for easy future upgrades.
1 GB Dual Channel DDR or DDR2
Intel Celly D Socket T
Inexpensive Dual Format Dual layer DVD Burner
Inexpensive 300W ish Power Supply
Good Sound Card (NOT onboard)
Mediocre Video Card Perferably ATi (I do very little gaming)

I have:

Silver Aluminium ATX Case with Plexi Window and Front USB/Audio Capabilities.
3.5 Floppy Alreading installed in above Case
40GB PATA Maxtor HD (Will get me going, would upgrade to SATA later)

This SunkenD guide has a really good list of components in the $600 range. It is AMD..but it'd be way better than anything with a Celeron processor.

I was kinda waiting for more replies before I replied but here goes.

AMD is good stuff, heck, my 5.5 year old Slot-A Athlon is still kicking. I just would like to go Intel this time around, get a Celly D because from reading these forums I've read the Celly D kicks butt and would provide an easy upgrade path to a P-4 or P-Dual at a Later time.
