Using acronis drive image to restore an image to an SSD. Does the SSD remove the old data from the flash memory. Or just use new free flash for the image?
You want to do a secure erase before that otherwise it will not know that you did not want to keep the old data. This would cause a slow write and some unnecessary wear.
