Riser Card Question

I'm looking for graphics solutions for a 2U server that I'm using as a desktop. The case only fits low profile cards. Is it possible to use a riser card so that I can use a full sized PCI-e 2 x16 card? Does anyone have any experience with that?

The card and motherboard won't be affected by using something like a 90 degree riser, however you'll have to make sure the card and riser physically fit in your case.
