I just rolled back, uninstalled 8.8, booted in safe mode, ran Driver Sweeper, deleted the ATI registries and folders, and when installing the 8.8 betas which worked fine a few days ago I get an error message saying my graphics adapter is not installed correctly.

Is there a specific method for rolling back drivers with ATI?

Don't even need to use Driver Sweeper. Just uninstall like normal, but before you reboot you have to go to control panel > Device manager> uninstall and remove drivers for both populated 4870x2. Reboot then install new drivers.

Strange I don't see any listing for ATI or 4870X2 anywhere within the device manager tree. I am on Vista 64.
