Router/Modem Question

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Iam going to be moving in with a new roommate this upcoming week and we are going to be getting comcast. I have lived on my own the past year and found it more than acceptable to use my old modem and router as a soure for internet. But they are old, and outdated so we plan on upgrading. Heres the Question:

I was looking for a good modem, and a Wired/Wireless (both capability) router.
Im looking to spend somewhere in the $150 max range for both. If there is a huge jump in performance for little more money, than I can arrange it.

What would you guys recommend, and thank you in advance

I like my Asus RT-N16. It's got a ton of RAM and a beefy CPU - the box claims it can handle 300,000 connections. No idea how the stock firmware is, as I installed Tomato before starting to use it. Coupon code EMCYXNP58 will bring it down to $77 shipped.

The only real downside is that it's only 2.4GHz, not 5GHz. Luckily I'm not around much other WiFi, so that's not really an issue for me.

I've been on DSL for years and just used whatever modem the cable company gave me before that, so I can't really help with that.
