samsung 23 inch LCD good for gaming?

okay i havnt found a monitor larger than 22 inch that will is smaller than 21.5 inches across except one. it has a funny resolution but its samsung so im considering it. what do all u Hard have to say about this monitor ?http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001317

That is an odd resolution. I don't know if you have any interest in watching Blu-Rays or playing console games on it, but if so it'd be better to get a 1920x1200 (WUXGA) monitor so you can display 1080p pixel-for-pixel. I'd be interested in why Samsung chose that resolution instead of WUXGA, which it is very close to.

I have seen this monitor in person at a local Brandsmart store and to me it looks a little odd because of how wide and skinny it is, however the monitor itself is not half bad and I have had good experiences with Samsung monitors
