I have the samsung 170 17", older model of this one I think..

Its a great moniter. I notice no ghosting what so ever and game quite a bit - its not my eyes trained either, for I notice quite a bit of ghosting on my roomate's 19" dell lcd

Samsung's always made a great moniter, I'd say you should bite

Go with the Samsung. It has better brightness, faster response time, and higher contrast ratio. Ive had the Samsung 170n I think it is for several years now, and its great. I use it with my sff for a lan gaming rig, and theres definitely no ghosting. Anyway, even before the MIR they work out to the same price since the Samsung has free shipping.
