Not sure its the "best" out there, but its at the top. Definately better for the price than the Western Digital caviar blacks.
 
Its been at this price for a while now. I dont see how your just noticing this. Terabyte hard drives are falling in price.
 
Damn I think i'm going to pull the trigger on this one. Do they work with Nforce4 chipsets?

They will work with most general chipsets, but they may have a compatibility issue with raid chipsets.
