The XL is. Read the Prad.de review posted above. The XL doesn't get a very good rating. I suggest looking at Prad.de review of the LG W2442PA which is in English and gets a much better rating.
It has a much better stand, better screen uniformity (no bleed) and identical response time and contrast after calibration. It can also be found for around 200$ on sale at NClX.
The BX2450 is slower then both the XL/LG and has a poor contrast ratio.
The 2494hm is slower as it is a 5ms TN, making it hardly ideal for gaming.
